What does the annual renewal include?
The domain, hosting, SSL certificate and keeping the site running. The Website renews at COP 300,000 a year, or COP 240,000 if you pay at least 15 days before it expires (20% off). The Online Store renews at COP 600,000, or COP 300,000 with that early payment (50% off). For the Premium Site, the renewal depends on the project (from COP 400,000 a year) and we agree on it in your proposal.
Who provides the content?
You send us your logo, text, photos and videos; we organize them and build the site. With a Website or Online Store, you then update it yourself from your dashboard; with a Premium Site, we make the changes.
Can I start with a simple plan and grow later?
Yes. Many businesses start with a Website and later move to an Online Store or a Premium Site when they need it.
How do I pay?
You pay 50% to get started and the remaining 50% when we send you the final link to your site, after one round of changes. We publish it on your domain once we receive that balance.
What if I change my mind?
During the first week after your down payment, we refund what you paid, minus the domain if we already bought it with your approval. The details are in our terms (in Spanish).
Do you charge VAT?
No. The price is the full amount: websites and hosting are excluded from VAT under Colombian tax law (Tax Code, article 476), and we aren’t registered for VAT either.
How much do the payment providers charge?
Each payment provider charges its own fee on every sale and deducts it directly from what you receive: that money goes to the provider, not to UbicaYá. Published card rates, checked in October 2026 (plus VAT): Wompi 2.65% + COP 700, ePayco 2.64% + COP 690, Bold 2.99% + COP 900, and Mercado Pago from 2.79%, depending on how many days you take to receive the money. Addi, which lets your customers pay in installments, doesn’t publish its rate: you pay the fee as the merchant, and it depends on the contract you sign with Addi. They may change or depend on your contract, so confirm them with the provider when you open your account.
Who owns the domain?
If you already have a domain, you give us access to point it to your site. If we buy it for you, we register it under UbicaYá’s name and manage it for as long as the service runs. If you decide to leave, write to ventas@ubicaya.com: we unlock it and give you the code to transfer it to the provider of your choice.
Is the price monthly?
No. It’s a first-year price. We don’t offer monthly plans or free trials: it’s a hands-on service, not a self-service platform.
